Family Resource Counselors
A Family Resource Counselor (FRC) is someone who will help families eligible for RIte Care fill out their application. Please review their list to find a nearby FRC.

Guide to Assistance: This Guide provides information about government assistance programs and community-based resources that help low- and modest-income Rhode Islanders meet basic needs. The Guide provides a general overview, eligibility rules and application information for each program in the areas of Income Supports, Food Assistance, Health Care, Child Care, Housing, Utilities and Tax Credits.

The Rhode Island Health Coverage Project ensures that the consumer voice is present as the state is making decision related to health care reform. 

Rhode Island Insurance Companies:
Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island and United Healthcare of New England all contract with the Rhode Island Department of Human Services to administer RIte Care benefits. Please follow the links below for more information about each company’s RIte Care insurance plan:
